Jocelyn Danna

As far back as I can remember, I've loved nature and making art.  I grew up in rural New Jersey, playing in the woods and learning the names of plants and mushrooms.  That same curiosity and sense of wonder inform my work today- I often focus on tiny details that invite the viewer to slow down, and to take a closer look.  

 I first visited Lander in 2018 and moved here in 2022.  After spending most of my life working manual labor jobs that allowed me to travel and spend time outside.  I am ready for a change.  In 2023, I bought basic metalsmithing tools, turned my basement into a studio, and began to teach myself silversmithing, which I had wanted to do for a long time. Four Pines Jewelry has been my "side hustle" for many years, but now it is my full-time job, and I couldn't be happier.
